BOSTON (WWLP) - The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has released information after reviewing 12 Superfund sites in Massachusetts, including one in Landsborough, a town in Berkshire County.
According to a news release from the EPA, a five-year review is conducted of 12 Superfund sites on the National Priority List in Massachusetts, as required by law. The EPA looks at the actions for cleanup, results of the cleanup, and continued prevention efforts in deciding if any further action to protect human health or the environment is required.
