FRESNO COUNTY, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – The wanted man who the Fresno County Sherriff's Office referred to as "armed and dangerous" with "a history of violence" has been arrested, deputies announced Thursday. Fresno County Sheriff's Office deputies say they arrested 29-year-old Helan Lopez Sanchez Thursday night after responding to a motel near Highway 99 and Shaw Avenue in Fresno. The sheriff's office first asked for the community's help in locating Sanchez on Jan. 9, following an alleged assault with a deadly weapon. This is an ongoing investigation. Fresno County Sheriff's Office deputies say additional information will be provided at a later time.
