BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) -- A man has been arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon and child endangerment after barricading himself in a residence in Oildale Thursday afternoon. Officials with the Kern County Sheriff's Office say the man arrested was identified as 34-year-old Dalton Thessen. Deputies were dispatched to the 500 block of Francis Street for the report of an unknown situtation regarding people screaming around 1:25 p.m. Thursday. Annual ADAKC Cinnamon Roll Drive to takeover Compassion Corner Thessen allegedly fled on foot and barricaded himself, according to KCSO. Deputies were able to make entry and arrest Thessen.
