INDIANAPOLIS – Police took a person into custody after an early morning break-in at an east side business. According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, officers were dispatched to a business alarm between 2:20 a.m. and 2:30 a.m. at a business in the 4100 block of East 38th Street. The business is a dispensary that sells cannabis and hemp products. Upon arrival, police saw someone inside and surrounded the building. Video showed multiple police vehicles responded to the scene. The incident spanned a few hours. Eventually, officers found a person in the back of the store and took the individual into custody. The incident remains under investigation.
