Queen City Homestore to debut by opening in 7 locations, including Burlington

(WGHP) — A Charlotte-based appliance retailer is entering the homestore business and branching into the Piedmont Triad.
Queen City Audio Video & Appliances has recently acquired multiple Badcock Home Furnishing & More locations and plans to use them to debut its new Queen City Homestore concept. The stores will sell appliances, outdoor products, electronics, mattresses and furniture.

The company plans to open seven locations: four in North Carolina — Burlington, Fayetteville, Durham, Goldsboro, and Rockingham — and two in South Carolina — Columbia and Aiken. Queen City plans to open more in the future.
The Homestore in Burlington will be located at 3356 S. Church St. Doors open on Jan. 24.
Queen City already has two appliance stores in the Triad: one in Greensboro, located at 2201 Patterson St., and another in Winston-Salem, located at 4030 University Parkway.
