McEnery Residential has announced its second expansion in less than a year, doubling the size of its Covington office by combining with The Morse Team, a family-owned real estate company with more than 40 years of experience in the St. Tammany Parish real estate market. In May 2024, McEnery Residential acquired Delery Comarda Realtors and its 21 agents. McEnery is a residential real estate brokerage company with more than 70 real estate agents and three offices across the Greater New Orleans area, in Covington (427 N. Columbia St.), Metairie (722 Martin Behrman Ave.), and New Orleans (4901 Magazine St.). The Morse Team was founded by Kay Morse, who retired in 2020 after 34 years. The Morse Team consists of Kay’s daughters, Candy Morse Modeen and Melody Morse Barousse, and granddaughter, Kate Barousse Friedman, who will all join McEnery Residential in the Covington office, led by McEnery Residential agents Dugger Koenig and Margot Castaing Rainold. “This new union brings together the McEnery and Morse families, two of the most trusted names in St. Tammany Parish real estate,” according to the press release on the McEnery Residential website. “Candy, Melody, and Kate embody the exact culture, integrity and vision that are the foundation of the McEnery Residential brand. Their addition to the existing Northshore Team is in keeping with our strong and steady growth plan, which includes always focusing on quality over quantity and ensuring compatibility with our existing agents, brand, and client base.”
