ORBIS Corporation to close Menasha plant, laying off 109 workers

MENASHA, Wis. (WFRV) – A Fox Valley plastic manufacturer will lay off 109 workers as it consolidates operations into a new facility in Texas.
According to a Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification (WARN) letter submitted to the Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development, ORBIS Corporation plans to close its Menasha plant and move operations to Greenville, Texas.

All employees at the Menasha facility will lose their jobs, with the terminations expected to begin on or around March 16, 2025. The layoffs are anticipated to occur in phases as the facility winds down operations.
ORBIS indicated that some affected employees may be offered positions at other facilities in the Fox Valley region operated by its affiliate, Menasha Packaging, LLC.
