BOSTON, Mass. (WLNE) — Massachusetts Governor Maura Healey will deliver her second “State of the Commonwealth” Thursday. Ahead of the address, Governor Healey has outlined one of her goals for next fiscal year, the elimination of broker fees and notable changes to the “Right to Shelter” law. It would include imposing a statutory residency requirement for families and strengthening criminal background checks and identification. Meanwhile, in her state address, Governor Healey said she’s continuing her, “Fight to bring down costs and make the Bay State the number one state to live, work, and learn.” The address will start at 6:30 p.m. and can be streamed at mass.gov.
