INDIANAPOLIS -- Indiana State Police are on the scene of a crash involving a semi-truck that closed the right lane of Interstate 465 eastbound Wednesday night.
Troopers were called around 8:31 p.m. to I-465 EB at mile marker 3.4 between Bluff Road and S. Meridian Street in response to a personal injury accident with injury.
ISP confirmed the crash involved a semi and a car. Officials needed more time to re-open the closed lanes because the female driver of the car had reportedly fled the scene, according to ISP. Medics were also called to the scene after the driver of the semi-truck had reported experiencing some pain following the crash.
Troopers managed to locate the fleeing driver a short time later and believe everyone involved in the crash has been accounted for.
