What We’re Tracking Very cold morning Warming up as the week progresses Another blast of cold by the weekend Cloud cover moves into the area this morning. Temperatures are down into the single digits so bundle up heading out the door. Cloud cover decreases later today, giving way to a sunny sky. We start our gradual warming trend today as temperatures climb to around the freezing mark. The tail end of the week looks to be our best shot at melting much of the deep snowpack. Highs will climb into the lower to middle 40s, possibly warmer south where snow will be first to melt away. However, another blast of cold air is on the way for next weekend. We'll watch the frontal boundary as it drops into the area on Saturday. Right now, it looks like much of the area will stay dry as the front passes.
