GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) - With the 2025 NFL Draft in Green Bay now under 100 days away, a pair of free events have been announced as part of a newly announced Draft City Music Fest. The City of Green Bay has partnered with On Broadway Inc. to host two events at Leicht Park during draft week to kick off and close out the once-in-a-lifetime festivities coming to Titletown, part of the Touchdown Downtown initiative. Draft Kickoff will lead into the jam-packed NFL Draft weekend on April 23 from 4 to 11 p.m. at Leicht Park on Dousman Street. Where will the Green Bay Packers pick as they prepare to host the 2025 NFL Draft? Draft Kickoff will feature multiple live music acts including a national headliner, food, beverages, free glow giveaway items and activities, a family zone, and much more. The kickoff event will also feature fireworks presented by Festival Foods before the musical headliner. Capping off the weekend's festivities will be 8th Round Downtown on April 26 from 5 to 11 p.m. The 8th Round Downtown event will also be held at Leicht Park. After the 7th round of draft picks wraps up, the Draft City Music Fest sendoff event will feature four to five bands with a headlining act as a grand finale to the weekend. Local breweries are also teaming up to create an exclusive craft beer only for Draft Week, exclusive to the event. We have something very special planned to showcase the energy of our City as we welcome visitors and local residents to experience our City’s downtown during Draft Week. Date set for Appleton Public Library’s grand opening It was also mentioned that Draft City Music Fest is now accepting vendor applications for food, music-focused, or engagement vendors; however, other products/services may be considered.
