Hot Rod Power Tour returns to Fort Wayne in June

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) It's billed as the world's largest traveling car show, and in June, the Hot Rod Power Tour will make a stop in Fort Wayne.
The 2025 edition of the tour kicks off on June 9 at Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park just west of Indianapolis with over 6,000 vehicles expected to participate.
The second day heads north to Joliet, Illinois, to one of the tracks on the NHRA national event schedule. Route 66 Raceway will host the second straight day of drag racing on June 10. Organizers indicated it's rare in recent years for a group outside of NHRA to use at the quarter-mile course in the stadium-like dragstrip.

The third and fourth days are a break from dragstrips as Power Tour visits the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum in Fort Wayne. A short drive east into Michigan brings the group to Thursday’s stop at Monroe County Fairgrounds in the city of the same name.
And finally, the tour concludes at the Summit Motorsports Park, one of the crown jewels on the NHRA national event tour. Drag racing will take place at three locations and Power Tour officials will be announcing autocross details before the start of the tour. shortly. Also new for 2025 is a new feature for Pro Street cars, a special showcase is being organized for the opening day kickoff in Indianapolis.
All vehicles and spectators must pre-register before arriving at the first venue they attend. Spectators can come out and witness the HOT ROD Power Tour spectacle at no gate admission cost but must register for a free ticket at hotrodpowertour.us.
