2 arrested, child taken from home with meth and fentanyl inside: KCPD

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) -- Two people were arrested and a child was placed into protective custody Monday evening after probation officers say they discovered suspected drugs, a firearm and tear gas inside an Knudsen Drive apartment.
Davion Rayshawn Owens, 31, was arrested Jan. 13 after officers searched an apartment in the 6000 block of Knudsen Drive and found about 7.86 grams of suspected methamphetamine, about 19.23 grams of suspected fentanyl, a stolen Ruger 9mm firearm, ammunition, multiple digital scales, cash, pepper spray and drug paraphernalia.

The Kern County Probation Department also said Amber Jamille Jackson, 35, was arrested at the apartment under suspicion of possession of a controlled substance for sales, possession of controlled substance while armed, receive/possess stolen property, possession of controlled substance paraphernalia and child neglect.
Owens was arrested under the same charges as Jackson, along with alleged possession of a firearm by a felon, possession of ammunition by a prohibited person and unlawful possession of tear gas, officers said.
