SUNBURY, Ohio (WCMH) – Two people were injured but escaped from serious harm after a Sunbury home was destroyed in a fire Tuesday afternoon. According to the Harlem Township Division of Fire in Sunbury, Ohio, over a dozen units responded to a house fire on Tuesday. Fire crews discovered a home engulfed in flames on State Route 37. (Courtesy/Harlem Township Fire Department) Weather conditions, which included temperatures in the single digits, made it difficult for firefighters to combat the flames and heavy smoke coming from the home, which was all but destroyed. The victims managed to escape with minor injuries and they were taken to local hospitals for treatment.
