Photo: Columbia Police Department Columbia, SC (WOLO) — The Columbia Police Department is investigating a double shooting turned deadly at an area apartment complex. According to CPD, two people were shot just after 8 pm Tuesday night at the Colony Apartments along West Beltline Boulevard. Authorities tell us one person was pronounced dead at the scene of the shooting. The other victim was taken to an area hospital. Police say they do not have a motive for the shootings, but say at this point they do not believe there is any threat to the public.
