Possible plea deal for woman accused of trying to steal Graceland

MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- The woman charged with a plot to sell Graceland is set to appear in federal court Wednesday for a report date, but a plea agreement may be in the works for the Missouri woman.
In August, Lisa Findley, 53, was arrested on federal charges in connection with an alleged scheme to defraud Elvis Presley’s family of millions of dollars and steal the family’s ownership in the former home of Elvis Presley.

Findley is still in federal custody and is expected to be in court on Wednesday.

Court records show during a hearing in November, Findley's defense attorney said a proposed plea agreement had been tendered and requested additional time.
Aaron Henricks of the U.S. Department of Justice also told the Court a flash drive containing 54,000 pages of discovery had been turned over to the defense, and he was waiting on lab results that would be the last piece of discovery.
Attorneys will update the court on the status of the case and how negotiations are progressing during the hearing before U.S. District Court for the Western District of Tennessee Judge John T. Fowlkes.
Prosecutors said Findley assumed a number of different identities as she tried to convince a judge to auction off Elvis Presley’s estate in Memphis to pay an alleged $3.8 million debt owed by his daughter, Lisa Marie Presley.
