  (CNN)– You may have noticed empty shelves or less choices of eggs at the grocery store, that’s because the United States is experiencing an egg shortage due to Avian Flu. And the situation may not improve anytime soon. According to the USDA, in November and December alone, more than 17 million egg-laying hens died as a result of the virus.
