SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) -- The San Francisco Police Department is mourning the loss of one of its K-9s. The department announced Monday that K-9 Carlow passed away after 12 years of service. During that time, Carlow was involved in “hundreds of narcotics and money investigations throughout the state,” SFPD said in a social media post. Those investigations resulted in money seizures totaling almost $4 million. Carlow also entertained children through a number of demonstrations at schools across the Bay Area, police said.
