WORCESTER, Mass. (WWLP) - Surveillance footage shows an explosion inside of a manhole in Worcester over the weekend.
Five Worcester students charged after mob beats up falsely accused child predator
NBC Boston states that two manholes were seen with smoke coming out of them Saturday night. The Worcester Fire Department was already there monitoring that smoke when it exploded, blowing off one of the covers.
Flames were then seen shooting out of the manhole, and the fire department said it self-extinguished.
No one was hurt and the cause of the explosion is being investigated.
