TARBORO, N.C. (WNCT) — A man was arrested after numerous complaints from people in Edgecombe County regarding animal cruelty. Law enforcement officers responded to a home on Raccoon Branch Road to check on the welfare of several animals. Officers found the reports to be valid and seized five dogs and five cats from the home and arrested Jaboris Rogers. The exact charges for Rogers are unknown at this time.
