(WGNO) — The St. Tammany Parish Sheriff's Office announced the arrest of a child allegedly making threats towards an area school. On Monday, Jan. 13, deputies were alerted of an 11-year-old student at a Mandeville-area private school, allegedly sending text messages to another student stating their intentions to shoot up the school. Third suspect in New Orleans East armed robbery murder case arrested Deputies said the student was arrested but later released to parents with a summons for terrorizing on a custodial agreement to appear in court. “We will continue to work with all of our schools and investigate threats at our schools or to the students and faculty who attend them.
