MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- Memphis Police are investigating a shooting that led to a multi-vehicle crash Monday afternoon. At 3:06 p.m., officers responded to a three-vehicle crash at Austin Peay and James Road. Police said shots were fired prior to the cash. Memphis Police officer dead after he was found unresponsive on Main Street Fortunately, no injuries have been reported from the shooting or the crash. MPD has since blocked all of the southbound lanes on Austin Peay as they continue to investigate. Additional information about the incident will be available when the report is complete.
