HIGH POINT, N.C. (WGHP) — In the FOX8 House Call, we're talking about Sickle Cell Disease. It's an inherited red blood cell disorder, and it affects about 100,000 people in the U.S., mostly African Americans. FOX8's Natalie Wilson spoke with a nurse practitioner from Cone Health about diagnosing and managing the disease.
