WASHINGTON (DC News Now) -- The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) said a man was arrested in connection to a robbery that happened in Northwest D.C. on Friday afternoon. Police said that 1:20 p.m., they responded to the 5900 block of Georgia Avenue for a robbery. The victim said that he was inside a business when the suspect asked him for money. When he refused, the suspect assaulted him and took his personal items. The suspect was found by police on Saturday and arrested. Jerson Flores, 31, of no fixed address, was charged with Robbery (Force and Violence).
