BEAUFORT, S.C. (WSAV) - An early morning mobile home fire on Alexandra Loop in Burton has displaced two adults and one child, according to the Burton Fire District (BFD). Just before 1:30 a.m. on Sunday authorities say emergency crews responded to the fire after a 911 call reported a mobile home on fire with another endangered. Initial 911 reportsstated all residents were out of the home after escaping through windows. Burton Fire Department Authorities say the home was heavily damaged in the fire. Two vehicles and a neighboring mobile home were also damaged. The fire is under investigation but is believed to have been caused by an electrical issue, according to the BFD, who also say there were no working smoke alarms in the home.
