Over 150,000 individuals have been instructed to evacuate their homes, and numerous buildings have been demolished. As firefighters continue to fight the fires, authorities have stated that dangerous fire weather conditions will continue for the next few days and are advising residents to take necessary safety measures. As of January 8,  the Pasadena Humane Society had taken in over 300 animals, including many with burns and injuries. They continue to work tirelessly to rescue, shelter, and provide medical care for animals affected by the wildfires.
