(BCN) -- Police were able to identify and arrest the suspect in a downtown assault case that happened on Dec. 22, Petaluma PD announced. William Werner, 30, from Petaluma, was taken into custody on Tuesday. Werner was issued a felony warrant was issued for assault with a deadly weapon and battery, causing serious bodily injury, police said. Palisades Fire threatens Los Angeles’ San Fernando Valley The incident happened on Dec. 22 at around 1:52 a.m. outside the New Yorker restaurant downtown, the police report noted.
