DC mayor to deploy District Snow team ahead of snowfall

WASHINGTON (DC News Now) – D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser said she will deploy the District Snow Team in preparation for the snow that is expected to come Friday night into Saturday morning.
Bowser said that on Friday, the team will be deploying the District Snow Team at 9 p.m. on Friday.
Crews respond to over 100 water main breaks in Maryland counties since start of new year
The team will be deploying 136 heavy plows and 82 light plows.
The heavy plows will work on treating highways, streets, bridges, ramps and other structures where as the light plows will be treating smaller streets.
