Lancaster County Sheriff's Cruiser (Jeff Motz/KFOR News)LINCOLN–(KFOR Jan. 10)–A disturbance Thursday night at a home in Cheney results in the arrest of a 39-year-old Lincoln man.
This happened in the 9500 block of Chester Street, where the man was fighting with two other people. Lancaster County Sheriff’s Captain John Vik says the suspect, Nathan Hansen, allegedly shoved one of the people and stomped on someone else’s foot, then showed an axe. Vik says deputies negotiated with Hansen, while getting the other two people out before he barricaded himself inside the home.
Eventually, Hansen was taken into custody and arrested on several offenses, including possession of a deadly weapon by a prohibitive person, 3rd degree assault and criminal mischief. The argument may have been over living arrangements.
