Buttonwillow man arrested after meth, digital scales found in home: KC Probation Dept.

BUTTONWILLOW, Calif. (KGET) -- Kern County Probation Department officers arrested a man Wednesday under suspicion of methamphetamine sales.
Harvey Watkins, 49, was arrested Jan. 8 after officers in the Post Release Community Supervision Unit searched a home in the 34000 block of Stockdale Highway and discovered 4.5 ounces of suspected methamphetamine.

Multiple digital scales, cash and drug paraphernalia was also found, according to officials.

Watkins was arrested for alleged possession of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance for sales, and possession of controlled substance paraphernalia.
The probation department also says Watson was charged with possession of drugs with two prior convictions under Proposition 36.
