NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) -- Hampton Roads Transit will reduce services due to winter weather. On Saturday, Jan. 11, snow routes will go into effect. HRT will operate on limited, hourly bus service while the Tide light rail and Elizabeth River Ferry will run every 30 minutes from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Some light rail trains will run without passengers to sweep tracks of snow and ice. Additionally, HRT’s paratransit service, OnDemand ridesharing and the Base Express shuttle at Naval Station Norfolk will not operate Saturday.
