App allows Virginia residents, visitors to report invasive species in state forests

CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- Have an eye for spotting invasive species? You can report them in Virginia's state forests through an app.
The app, called Wild Spotter, allows residents to report invasive species, according to the Virginia Department of Forestry.
The department said residents can inform management work by helping keep track and combat the invasive species.
