Benefit concerts held in New Orleans to support Bourbon Street attack victims

NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — Louisiana musicians are coming together to support the victims of the Jan. 1 Bourbon Street attack.
As the New Orleans community continues to recover, local and regional artists are hosting benefit concerts to help the community heal through music.
Greater New Orleans Foundation working to get aid to terror attack victims
On Saturday, Jan. 11, a concert presented by Tutti Agency will be held at the House of Blues Parish Room at 7 p.m. featuring indie folk/Americana artist Katelyn Chopin, piano balladeer Christian Michael Butler, pop R&B artist Aidian Carpenter and country music artist McKenzie Knapps.
A news release states all proceeds from Saturday's event will be donated to United Way of Southeast Louisiana's United for New Orleans Relief Fund.
‘Keep Your Head Up’ art spreading positivity after Bourbon Street attack
On Thursday, Jan. 16, the New Orleans Forever Benefit Concert presented by PJ Morton and Trombone Shorty will be held at the Dew Drop Inn starting at 6 p.m.
A social media post states the event will include performances from PJ Morton, The Soul Rebels, Big Sam, Pell, Denisia and members of Preservation Hall.
