WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) - The Emergency Accident Reporting Plan (EARP) is in effect for Sedgwick County due to weather conditions, according to Sedgwick County Dispatch. The Sedgwick County Sheriff's Office asks that if you are involved in a non-injury crash in unincorporated Sedgwick County, the vehicles are drivable, and no alcohol or drugs are involved, please do the following: Exchange information with the other driver(s) involved. Contact the Sheriff’s Office Squad Room at 316-660-3760 to arrange filing a report. To complete the required forms, you will need the following information: Names, addresses, and phone numbers of all drivers and passengers Vehicle descriptions (make, model, color, license plate numbers) Insurance information for each driver Location, date, and time of the crash The EARP will be active until Sedgwick County cancels it. It is strongly encouraged that drivers remain home unless absolutely necessary. Drive carefully and watch for changing road conditions.
