RACINE, Wis. (WFRV) - The Racine County Sheriff’s Office made its first arrest of 2025 involving a suspect in possession of child pornography on Wednesday. According to a release, the Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Unit determined that 64-year-old Leroy Kolacinski had uploaded hundreds of images of child pornography to an online platform. Virgil Thew apprehended in connection with triple homicide in Wisconsin After an extensive investigation, authorities obtained a search warrant for Kolacinski’s residence, which was served on Jan. 8 with assistance from electronic storage detection K-9 Stella. During the search, investigators seized multiple electronic devices. An initial review by a computer analyst revealed images of child pornography on the devices. Kolacinski was arrested and is being held in the Racine County Jail on a $150,000 bond. He is charged with three counts of possession of child pornography.
