Our Thursday evening temperatures are in the 20s. While our next snow-producing system is on the way, it's not here yet. No weather related travel impacts are anticipated this evening. The chill outside intensifies overnight with lows down to 15° by morning and the amount of clouds in the sky increases.
Snow becomes widespread in the afternoon tomorrow.
There's a chance of a few scattered morning snowflakes, especially west of Fort Wayne. But, by afternoon, the snow is widespread across the entire region and gradually accumulates through Friday night. The snow becomes more scattered and tapers off from late night Friday into early Saturday morning.
A total of 1"-3" of snow accumulation is expected by late Friday night/early Saturday morning.
Up to a few inches of snow fall across the entire region during the day Friday.
Most of the snow is done falling by Saturday at sunrise. However, there's a chance of a few additional lake effect snow showers during the daytime. These additional snow showers will not add much, if any, new snow accumulation.
Weekend temperatures reach the upper 20s both days.
Monday's forecast calls for a high in the morning in the upper 20s. Colder air will flow in during the day and temperatures drop. Some occasional snow showers are possible, too.
Wind chill values dip below zero Tuesday morning and stay below zero all day. Get ready to be bundled up early next week. Wednesday and Thursday mornings are likely to have below zero morning wind chill values, too.
