2 men dead after vehicle found submerged in pond in Chantilly, police say

FAIRFAX COUNTY, Va. (DC News Now) -- Police in Fairfax County have launched an investigation after a vehicle was found submerged in a pond and two men died Thursday morning.
In a post on X just before 9 a.m. on Jan. 9, the Fairfax County Police Department said officers were on the scene of a drowning near the 3900 block of Centerview Drive. This is near the Longhorn Steakhouse and the Wingate by Wyndham hotel.

Details remain limited; however, police said a vehicle was found submerged in a pond.
Two men were pronounced dead at the scene.
As of Thursday morning, detectives remained on Centerview Drive and worked to learn what led to the incident.
