Senior citizen arrested for drug dealing

RANDOLPH COUNTY, Ind. — A Muncie man was arrested for dealing controlled substances and possession of drugs.
Ray Allen West, 67, was arrested for the following:
Dealing in a Scheduled or Controlled Substance, Level 2 Felony
Possession of a Narcotic Drug, Level 3 Felony
Possession of a Syringe, a Level 6 Felony
According to reports, on Jan. 2, at approximately 3:45 p.m. the Lynn Police Department and the Randolph County Sheriff Department responded to a gas station at the intersection of US Highway 36 and US Highway 27, on a report of two unconscious individuals nodding off at fuel pumps.
Upon arrival to the scene, crews found two men and drug paraphernalia. After the suspects were taken into custody, police found multiple syringes, narcotics, and little baggies that made the officers believe that the pair may have also dealt drugs.
Officers found approximately 72.8 grams of fentanyl.
The additional suspect was charged with possession of a narcotic drugs, possession of paraphernalia, and possession of a syringe.
