WASHINGTON (DC News Now) -- A number of retail stores offer price match policies, allowing shoppers the chance to get better prices on items at their store of choice, if a competitor offers a better deal. Target updated its price match policy at the end of 2024. Target shoppers can get lower prices on items if they're offered by either Walmart or Amazon, up to two weeks after making a purchase. For example, a Keurig K-elite coffee maker available at Target for $189.99 is offered on Amazon for $109. Shoppers would present the lower price to the Target cashier to have their checkout price adjusted. National Museum of American History invites kids, families to explore collections Walmart offers price match for items on its website. If an item is lower on the website than it is in store, the website price will be honored. Best Buy offers price match for competitors, given that the items are identical and immediately available. It will also honor a sales price should an item go on sale during a return period. Home Depot will match prices for competitors, but not for membership stores such as Costco and Sam's Club. Lowe's matches prices for identical products on Amazon, Best Buy, Target and Walmart.
