Winter winds and (just a tiny bit of) winter white on this Thursday! Wind gusts are still mainly in the 20s and 30s today, with some reaching the 40s this afternoon. As high temperatures remain in the upper 20s and low 30s this afternoon, winds will make it feel like the teens yet again. Bundle up heading out! The other aspect of today’s forecast comes thanks to an area of energy to our north. This area is helping to propel some snow showers across northern New England, and a few of those snow showers could reach us in RI & MA today. Anything we see will be short lived, but it will provide some “aesthetic snow” for a winter day. Tomorrow will be less windy, with sun to start and clouds increasing in the afternoon. Temperatures get a boost into the upper 30s. This is as a major winter storm tracks across the US… but that storm won’t be so “major” for us. Unfortunately for those (like yours truly) who were hoping for a winter wallop this weekend, we’ll only see some light snow on Saturday morning and afternoon. Snow showers begin early Saturday, and by the time they’re done, most of us will be left with a coating to an inch.   Categories: News, Weather Forecast
