Williston man arrested for allegedly threatening to "blow up" bank

WILLISTON, ND (KXNET) — A Williston man has been arrested after allegedly threatening to "blow up" the Western Cooperative Credit Union, which he claimed provided him with an incorrect amount of money.
According to the Williston Police Department, at about 10:25 a.m. on January 3, police received a call from the credit union about a man who became upset after using the coin machine at the bank.
The man said he was given the incorrect amount of money, which is when bank employees say he became verbally disruptive towards staff. Employees attempted to work through the situation, but they say the man remained angry.

He was eventually asked to leave the premises, which is when he allegedly said that he's going to "blow up" the bank. When he left, the bank went on lockdown, and employees contacted the police.
Officers searched the area and found the man near his home in Williston, arresting him for Terrorizing, a Class C Felony.
