AUSTIN (KXAN) — Austin Pets Alive! is kicking off its year with its monthly Second Chance Saturday event on Jan. 11. Each of its five thrift store locations will be hosting the event, which features deep discounts on many items. All proceeds from the sales go back to the shelter to house and feed the animals. The event will run from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., however, adoptable pets will be featured from noon to 2 p.m. There will also be giveaways, beverages, vendors and more.
