Dublin's Bogey Inn to reopen as 'entertainment campus' with putting course

DUBLIN, Ohio (WCMH) -- The Bogey Inn, a historic bar near Muirfield Village Golf Club that closed in 2022, will reopen as an "entertainment campus" under the company behind Pins Mechanical Co.
Rise Brands, the group operating Pins Mechanical Co. and 16-Bit Bar+Arcade, will relaunch the Dublin bar at 6013 Glick Road during the summer of 2026. The company said it will transform the inn into an entertainment campus with indoor and outdoor bars, food options, live entertainment, a 27-hole putting course and more.

"The Bogey Inn has been on our radar for quite some time," Rise Brands CEO Troy Allen said. "It has always been a special part of the Dublin and Shawnee Hills community, and we wanted to make sure we stayed true to that legacy. We just needed the right concept to bring to the area and this experience will combine the timeless tradition of golf, family fun and the unique experiences Rise is known for."

The Bogey Inn permanently shuttered in 2022 after previous owner Jeff Parenteau died, then briefly reopened in 2023 and again in the summer of 2024 for the Memorial Tournament, the annual PGA Tour stop at Muirfield Village. The inn then auctioned off more than 800 of the restaurant's items -- branded tables and chairs, signage, kitchenware and more -- in October, ahead of the building's demolition.
Rise said construction will start this year by replacing the building and expanding the property, while the "Bogey Inn" name will be preserved to retain the bar's "history, nostalgia, and a bit of its original charm." The company noted the inn will be revamped in collaboration with the Memorial Tournament, offering a vibrant environment for golf lovers and casual visitors alike.

"We sought out to secure the Bogey Inn property to ensure we had input and contributed to the evolution of the iconic venue," The Memorial Tournament Executive Director Dan Sullivan said. "We took time to review what was best for the cherished brand and the important corner of Dublin and determined that Rise Brands is the perfect partner."
A 27-hole putting course with holes mimicking that of real golf greens will anchor the campus, inspired by iconic golf history and charm, Rise said. Full-service bars and a halfway house-inspired kitchen will be constructed, along with private areas to host corporate and social events.
Rise said the inn will offer family-focused activities, including a scoop shop offering sweet treats. The entire campus will pay homage to the traditions of the Memorial Tournament and the long-standing memories made at The Bogey Inn.
