New Year's Day murder suspect admitted stabbing man: doc

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) -- A 59-year-old man arrested in a New Year's Day homicide admitted stabbing the victim once -- and was seen on surveillance video committing the act, according to a court filing.
Kenneth Landcraft is charged with first-degree murder in the death of Paul Camarillo Jr., 35. He's being held without bail. A preliminary hearing is scheduled later this month.
Oildale man sentenced in accidental shooting that injured daughter
Surveillance video shows Landcraft get out of a vehicle and approach Camarillo, according to a probable cause declaration. He then stabs him once, according to the declaration.
Camarillo was taken to Kern Medical, where he was pronounced dead.
Landcraft was arrested the next day and admitted to the stabbing, according to the declaration. No motive is listed in the document.
