KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- The Kansas City Chiefs tight end and Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year nominee, Travis Kelce, has won a $35,000 prize from Nationwide Insurance to benefit his foundation, 87 & Running. This is Kelce's second time winning the Charity Challenge award in the last five years. One time in 2020, and the other in 2021. Kelce racked up more than 2 million votes to take home his second title. He is the first two-time winner in the program’s 10-year history. The $35,000 donation will go toward the 87 & Running Foundation -- an organization that helps underprivileged kids through the Kansas City metro get mentoring opportunities and motivation, helping them to develop skills in fields such as STEM, business, art, and athletics End Zone Extra: Get the top Chiefs news and insider features all season long Tyrann Mathieu (2021–22), Eric Berry (2015–16), and Patrick Mahomes (2022–23) were the previous Chiefs players to win.
