The UCLA golf commit gets a chance to represent Hawaii on one of the biggest stages on the islands.
"I have a lot of pride representing Hawaii because I feel like a lot of times some athletics Hawaii is kind of underrepresented. Just to kind of represent here, it means so much. There's so much pride being from here and represent the state as a whole it's just amazing." said Loree.

As for the Sony Open, Loree doesn't have too many expectations but knows he has a chance to put on a show.
"I don't really have too many expectations. I mean, I'll be fine if I placed last in this tournament. It's just a great experience, but then I wouldn't be too surprised. We played well either. So just kind of going with it and see where it goes," said Loree.
According to family members, Loree is expected to have a large following from friends, family, teammates and coaches throughout the weekend.
