KANSAS (KSNT) - Schools across northeast Kansas are sending out notices that classes will be canceled on Wednesday, Jan. 8. Districts that have announced closures include: Geary County Schools USD 475. Wabaunsee County Schools USD 329. Jefferson County Schools USD 340. Atchison County Schools USD 409. Shawnee County Schools USD 501 "We can’t wait to see our students and staff back in our schools on Thursday," USD 475 Communications Coordinator Matt Hoover wrote in a press release on Jan. 7.
