EAST PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — The City of East Providence said three warming centers are available for those in need.
East Providence Senior Center – 610 Waterman Ave.
Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Riverside Library – 475 Bullocks Point Ave.
Monday and Wednesday: 12 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Tuesday and Thursday: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Friday and Saturday: 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Weaver Library – 41 Grove Ave.
Monday through Thursday 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Friday and Saturday: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Sunday: 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Anyone in need of transportation to the warming centers or in need of assistance after hours can call the non-emergency police and fire departments at 401-435-7600, or stop by police or fire stations in East Providence.
