LEXINGTON, N.C. (WGHP) — "Who said recruiting wasn't going to be fun?"
That's the question new University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill head football coach Bill Belichick sarcastically posed on X on Tuesday morning while outside of a local BBQ joint.

While making recruiting rounds across the Tarheel State, the Tar Heels' new head coach made sure to stop by the Barbecue Center on 900 North Main Street in Lexington for some "North Carolina Pork BBQ, Lexington Style," as he described it.
247Sports' Inside Carolina reports that Belichick visited Triangle-area schools Rolesville High School, South Garner High School and Jordan High School on Monday.
On Tuesday, the coach appeared to make his way to the southern portion of the state, passing through Lexington for some 'cue on the way.
Social media posts from various players indicate that Belichick has visited Weddington High School, Providence Day School on Tuesday.
