Expect a cold but better start this morning, as interstates look great and dry weather is back across the state. Temperatures are in the upper teens/lower 20s out-the-door, so heavier layers needed. Winds are light but wind chills at times will feel like the single digits! This afternoon will stay dry, much calmer, with the clouds thinning at times, allowing for brighter conditions with highs reaching the middle 20s (roughly 10° below normal for early January). The next few days will remain fairly quiet! A few flurries possible tomorrow for our northern counties, otherwise dry through early Friday morning. Our next snow chances arrive on Friday by late morning and into the afternoon. For now, amounts remain low with the main track across the Tennessee Valley but will need to be monitored and updates coming in the days ahead!
